  Tokyo is big, it’s very big… The two days that we had to explore were nowhere near enough to see all that the city has to offer. But we did get a good idea. Tokyo is a vibrant, lively, loud, fun city. And crowded.   For three weeks we’ve been living in and out of this van. I was not really sad when we gave it back – the roof leaked water, the lights didn’t work reliably and overall it was in rather poor shape. But it got us around. And at least we got a 200 Dollar refund when we gave it back and complained about it.

  We spent our last week in New Zealand exploring the region north of Auckland. We based ourselves in Waipu and Whangarei. There are some nice beaches, beautiful coastlines and cliffs, subtropical forests, waterfalls and exciting caves. We went to see Abbey Caves in Whangarei, but these were not as easily accessible as the ones in Waipu. Going in would have included some serious climbing, and we weren’t really prepared for that, so we didn’t enter this time. Henry still…
