A bus-traveller’s view on the Southwest

One of the advantages of going by bus is, that you don’t have to worry about road conditions or finding the right way. You can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the landscape – at least, if you’re traveling during daytime.

Here are some pictures I took on the ride from Albuquerque to Flagstaff, along the Interstate 40, parts of which also belong to the historic Route 66. We passed Gallup, New Mexico, up to where we had snow, and had a short break in Holbrook, Arizona, where Henry made a new friend, Mr. Tumbleweed.

 

Now the pictures, they get more and more blurred, since the window gets more and more filthy on the way:
