…and we finally made it to the surfing beach! I am feeling much better, so we went to Playa Encuentro quite early in the morning, around 9 (considering the first surfers go there at 7, it’s not really early).

The weather was really bad, it was even raining a bit, as you can see on the pictures (the sun is not as bright as usually… ;). We still took a lesson and tried our best. It’s not so bad to go surfing in the rain, the ocean is quite warm and the exercise keeps you from getting cold as well. It’s fun, we’re definitely going to do it again!

Tomorrow we’re back on the road, next destination Las Terrenas.
