We’ve spent the last four days in Siesta Key close to Sarasota. A beautiful little island with the most perfect beaches we’ve seen so far.
Very broad and with sand like powdered sugar – so white, it almost looks like snow. With lots of wildlife to watch, funny shorebirds running around. And a sunset that’s breathtaking. There is also a small village with cute little cafés, shops and restaurants. Quite touristy, but not exaggerated like Key West. All in all a very nice stop to spend a few days.
And – it’s home of Steven King and Jerry Springer. Haven’t seen neither of them, unfortunately…
Pictures of that wonderful place (including beautiful sunsets, of course):[gird-gallery id=”20″ position=”center”]
