  We arrived late Saturday evening at a campsite next to an aerodrome, the starting point for scenic and skydiving flights. We sort of crashed the campsites owner’s birthday party. Dallas

  Texas weather had pretty much messed up our plans, so we did not nearly see as much of the region like we had planned to. We took a closer look at downtown Dallas while we had to wait for our bus to Albuquerque on Tuesday. Which was then cancelled, as they told us one hour before the scheduled departure. But that’s a different story… If Texas cities were people, Austin would be a hippie and Dallas would be a businessman….

Texas weather strikes back

  Winter finally got us. We’ve succeeded long enough to avoid bad weather, but here in Keller, Texas, close to Dallas and Fort Worth, we’ve run out of luck. After a very rainy day yesterday there is now even snow and ice on the streets with temperatures under zero degrees Celsius. You just don’t mess with Texas, I guess.
