Winter finally got us. We’ve succeeded long enough to avoid bad weather, but here in Keller, Texas, close to Dallas and Fort Worth, we’ve run out of luck. Of course we’ve done more that just overeating in this fabulous city, that was nothing like I had imagined Texas would be like (mostly conservative…). Austin is different than the rest of Texas. More liberal and progressive, we would say. You can find a lot of vegetarian and even vegan restaurants (we avoided them for the most part) and a whole lot of fair-trade, local, organic stores, cafés etc. And you’ll find a lot of Food Trucks.
