Bude to Ilfracombe – Bingo!

  We’ve said Goodbye to Cornwall and to our last fellow walker, Dennis, in Bude and got on a bus that brought us to Clovelly in North Devon. Clovelly is a peculiar little village. The first town I’ve been to where I had to pay an entrance fee. It’s been conserved beautifully, with cobbled streets and century old buildings. The streets are so steep, that they can’t be used by cars, so everything has to be brought there with sleys….

Busan – Welcome to Korea

  We left Japan from Fukuoka on a high speed ferry to Busan in South Korea. That’s where we’ve spent the whole last week. I guess we could stay even longer without a chance of getting bored. Northland

Northland

  We spent our last week in New Zealand exploring the region north of Auckland. We based ourselves in Waipu and Whangarei. There are some nice beaches, beautiful coastlines and cliffs, subtropical forests, waterfalls and exciting caves. We went to see Abbey Caves in Whangarei, but these were not as easily accessible as the ones in Waipu. Going in would have included some serious climbing, and we weren’t really prepared for that, so we didn’t enter this time. Henry still…
