Every winter, around 1000 humpback whales travel to Samana Bay to mate and bring up their calves. Last day in Cabarete…

  …and we finally made it to the surfing beach! I am feeling much better, so we went to Playa Encuentro quite early in the morning, around 9 (considering the first surfers go there at 7, it’s not really early).
