  We’ve spent the last four days in Siesta Key close to Sarasota. A beautiful little island with the most perfect beaches we’ve seen so far. Very broad and with sand like powdered sugar – so white, it almost looks like snow. With lots of wildlife to watch, funny shorebirds running around. And a sunset that’s breathtaking.   So here is our report on two sights that couldn’t be more different. The untouched nature of the Everglades and the Disney-like tourist magnet of Key West.   Everglades The Everglades reminded me of the Norfolk Broads. Just warmer and with more alligators.
