Into the Wild Part III: Visiting Nomads in Terelj National Park

Into the Wild Part III: Visiting Nomads in Terelj National Park

When we arrived at the bus station from where we were to depart to our first ger inside the Terelj National Park, we where amused at the three drunk Mongolians engaged in a fist fight next to an old Russian 4WD. Little did we know that it was the same 4WD that had come to pick us up, including the drunk Mongolians. Sow how many Mongolians fit in a standard sized 4WD? We counted and found out: ten people,…

Busan – Welcome to Korea

Busan – Welcome to Korea

We left Japan from Fukuoka on a high speed ferry to Busan in South Korea. That’s where we’ve spent the whole last week. I guess we could stay even longer without a chance of getting bored. Busan must be Korea in a nutshell, it’s got a bit of everything: exciting skylines with huge skyscrapers (actually our accommodation is in one of these, on 32nd floor, how awesome is that!), broad white beaches with promenades to stroll along, hills and mountains for…

Down Highway 1: Completing our journey through the U.S.

Down Highway 1: Completing our journey through the U.S.

Our trip through America is drawing to a close, after traveling 3.600 miles with Greyhound and another close to 2.000 miles in a car around California. Yosemite

Yosemite

Yosemite Park. No further comments this time, just a view pictures. (Yes, there were squirrels; again didn’t encounter any bears. Nor mountain lions, that usually live around there as well).

Escape to L.A.

Escape to L.A.

We’re back in business – we did what everyone does in Los Angeles, worked on our acting careers. Quite successfully as you can see here:     We started Downtown just walking around with no proper agenda, it didn’t take long for someone to come up to us and recommend going to the top of the City Hall Building, all the way to the 27th floor where we had a great view of the City, Hollywood Hills, Skyscrapers, the surroundings, and…

Dallas

Dallas

Texas weather had pretty much messed up our plans, so we did not nearly see as much of the region like we had planned to. We took a closer look at downtown Dallas while we had to wait for our bus to Albuquerque on Tuesday. Which was then cancelled, as they told us one hour before the scheduled departure. But that’s a different story… If Texas cities were people, Austin would be a hippie and Dallas would be a businessman….
